What is the life expectancy of a Performance Soles product?
- The lifespan of one of our insoles varies depending on the amount of wear and tear it receives; high-impact runners can expect a shorter insole lifespan than a barber. On average the shell (or plastic portion) will last up to 2 years while the mid-layer and top cover will last between 6-12 months depending on the level of use and intensity.
What if my Performance Soles do not fit my shoes?
- While we custom engineer your Performance Soles based on your feet and the style of shoe that you wear most frequently, we also understand that our insoles need to be versatile to fit a variety of shoe types. That’s why we designed our insoles to be a touch bigger to keep your options open. Use scissors to trim any unwanted material from the soft front portion of your insole.
Can my insoles be transferred from shoe to shoe?
- Yes! Performance Soles can be transferred from shoe to shoe as long as the shoe is of a similar style. For instance, an insole designed for a running shoe will not fit dress shoes properly.
How do I care for my insoles?
- Performance Soles are designed to be durable and require minimal care. However, we do suggest that you take them out of your shoes every couple of weeks and wipe them down with a damp cloth, let them air dry, and then put them back into your shoes. DO NOT soak them in water or put them in a washing machine.
